Montini Catholic High School is gearing up for its 27th Annual Benefit Auction, the Maroon and Gold Gala, on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Abbington Distinctive Banquets in Glen Ellyn. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. and will continue until midnight and will feature an open bar, passed appetizers, sit-down dinner, live entertainment and a $20,000 Champions Club Raffle. Guests will also be able to participate in a silent and live auction and many exciting raffles.
"Each year we look forward to our alumni, parents and friends joining us as we celebrate the outstanding Catholic education our school provides," said President Jim Segredo.
The Montini Catholic High School Maroon and Gold Gala is the school's largest fundraiser with all proceeds benefiting all academic, religious and community service endeavors. Each year, students volunteer to give back to the community though several community service projects including their Golden Gobbler Food Drive, Sophomore Day of Service, and Adopt A Family events, to name a few. They also attend service oriented mission trips throughout the year with Habitat for Humanity and are currently planning their fourth trip to Nicaragua to provide aid to impoverished families.
